Most people in sales will tell you that most sales occur after the prospect has said no a number of times.  Setup your autoresponder to be that persistent salesperson.

There is a number of different types of buyers from the hyper-excited. They want to buy it even before opening the email through to the most sceptical and most difficult to convince buyers.

So even if you have a great sales letter you will only convert a certain percentage of people on the first viewing. And others will only buy after seeing the information the certain number of times that suits their style. Some people need to see that something has been around for a while before they will give it any credibility.

Now of course you can improve those odds by getting a professional direct marketer to write your sales letter, doing a joint venture with a more experienced direct marketer or by giving a special offer with a discount and/or free bonuses.

These are all great things to do but let's get back to focusing on direct simplistic benefits of the autoresponder. The autoresponder is the perfect sales person.

Create separate campaigns (list of people's email addresses) with different messages for different types of products. It is much easier to sell to a list of people that have a common interest than just to a common list. Set up each campaign with a series of messages, pre-programmed to go out at a certain interval of days. Eg Instant, Day 3, Day 7  etc etc. Encourage them to take action and use your words to help them see the benefits of doing that.

After you set it up once, this can all happen automatically as soon as the prospect subscribes to your list. You can just tweak the messages and improve on them over time until you have the perfect salesperson staying in contact with your customer and ensuring that you have every chance to make a sale.  Meanwhile you are sleeping, surfing or working on other money making ideas.

For people to buy from you they need to trust you. Regular contact with the person and giving them useful information is a great way to achieve this.

Now before we get too carried away with this idea, are you in this business to send out information or to run a business and make money?  Now you want to be clear on that as professionally run businesses generally make the most money.

Sure you want these people to improve their lives. As a quality internet marketer, you always send people valuable information. Remember this, People's lives only change when the person changes, and the catalyst for them changing is to make a choice about something. Buying your product can be one of those choices that are moving them towards something that they want.

So set up a persuasive series of messages in your autoresponder to encourage people to take action and get your product. Get them excited about the possibilities. Continue the series of messages after purchase to encourage them to take action and use the product to get what they want. If you help them with this they will be much more likely to buy other products that you introduce to them.

So make sure you capture people's email addresses and use the magic of the perfect persistent salesperson to create credibility and plenty of sales.

Autoresponders are one of your best friends, use them well

Different Types of Work at Home Opportunities

Different Types of Work at Home Opportunities

Word Count:

Summary:
Many people would love to be able to work at home, but aren't really sure what their options are.  Listed below are four types of opportunities you should consider before deciding.

Keywords:
work at home ideas, work at home

Article Body:
Many people would love to be able to work at home, but aren't really sure what their options are.  If you've been trying to find a way to earn enough income while still being able to work from home, first you must figure out what type of opportunity you are looking for.  Here are 4 different ways that you can work from home.

1. Telecommuting – You can have a "regular" job, with set hours.  You work for an employer, and the only difference between this and the jobs that most people have is that you will be working from home.  Some plusses:  You have the set pay, benefits, and hours you would have working a "regular" job, and you can work at home.  Minuses are that you are still working for another company, so you have set hours, and vacation time.

2. Buying a Franchise – If you are interested in a business, but don't want to start from scratch, you can buy a franchise.  You will own that particular business, and be one of many in the franchise.  You will run the business and everything in it, but in return for your payments, you get the use of an established name, training, advertising, etc.  Plusses:  You still own your own business, but will get the benefit of help from others in the same business as you.  You will also receive shared advertising.  Minuses:  It is your own business, so you have no set pay.  You have to pay a franchise fee, and sometimes monthly or yearly royalty fees.

3. Direct Selling – This is where you join a direct sales company, such as Avon, Tupperware, Mary Kay, etc. and start to sell their products.  You set your own hours, and usually there is only a small payment (if any) in order to sell for a certain direct selling company.  Plusses:  You can work when you want, and take whatever time off that you want.  There are also others in the same situation, so you can talk to them about ideas or get help.  Minuses:  You have no set pay, and depending on the company, there may be many others selling the same thing you are.

4. Starting your own Business – This is when you decide to do something completely on your own.  It can be almost anything, but you are not tied to another company in any way.  This gives you total control as to what you do, and how you do it.  Plusses:  You are on your own, so you don't have to answer to anyone.  You work your own hours, take off when you want, etc.  Minuses:  You have no set pay.  You are pretty much on your own, since this business belongs completely to you.

Decide which of these seems most interesting to you. It is a tough decision, but hopefully this gives you direction to find a good fit for your skills.

How to Use Simple Tag and Ping Marketing Techniques(To Boost Your Site's Ranking, Traffic and Sales)

How to Use Simple Tag and Ping Marketing Techniques(To Boost Your Site's Ranking, Traffic and Sales)

Word Count:
1419

Summary:
Many professional online marketers are taking advantage of Tag and Ping marketing techniques to boost their online rankings, traffic and sales. Here's a step-by-step guide showing how you can Tag and Ping...

Keywords:
tag and ping,marketing tips,internet marketing,rss,blogging,

Article Body:

If you're just heard the phrase 'Tag and Ping' and scratching your head in puzzlement - this article may be worth your time. Not that Tag and Ping is some magic marketing formula that will deliver untold riches. It won't.

It is just one more marketing tool professional online marketers are using to give their site or sites a competitive edge over their competition. It will help put your site on the Internet map and if done right, Tag and Ping will deliver plenty of very targeted traffic to your sales pages. It will boost your rankings and increase your sales.

Tag and Ping is one of those simple, yet relatively unknown marketing techniques savvy Internet Marketers have been using and trying to keep quiet for years. To truly understand how Tag and Ping works, you will have to know some basic background information on keywords, blogging, tags, and how all these can work in sync to deliver traffic, links and sales to your site.

* What are Blogs?

Most web users will know a blog is an online journal where bloggers post their daily or hourly entries (their opinions, views, info, links) on any subject that interests them. The most popular blogging systems are Blogger.com (owned by Google) Bloglines (owned by Ask Jeeves), LiveJournal, and many professional marketers use the free WordPress software which they can host on their own websites.

Each blog has its own RSS feed - RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication although its original acronym stood for Rich Site Summary. These RSS feeds broadcasts the information in the blog posts to all concerned parties - those who have subscribed and use an RSS reader or aggregator. Or more commonly, subscribers use the FireFox browser, Google Desktop, or MyYahoo to access their favorite RSS feeds. The next version of Windows will have RSS embedded into its operating system.

* What are Tags?

Tags are really another name for keywords. Most surfers will know keywords are the exact words Internet users type into search engines to find what they're looking on the world wide web. Tags work in the same way and are a form of social bookmarking, a way of classifying and accessing all that content in all those countless blogs.

Many major blogging directories such as Technorati use tags to serve up the information to its patrons. One simple technique to create a tag in Technocrati:

Or if your blogging software supports categories; this will be recognized by Technorati as a tag.

* What the heck is a Ping?

A ping is a simple way to notify the different search engines to let them know that your blog has been updated. You call up or ping your blog post.

You bookmark or place an entry in any one of the countless blogging sites such as Technorati, Furl, del.icio.us, Blinklist, Flickr --- you go to these sites and click your blog or tag to inform them you have updated your blog. Many blogging systems will automatically ping your blog updates.

Or you can do this manually, for example Technorati's ping form is here:

* Simple Way to Ping

If this is still confusing to you, one simple way to ping your tags/blogs is to use a site like:

and it will automatically ping your blog in many of the most popular blogging services.

* Enter The Online Professional Marketers and It All Hits the Fan

Of course, online marketers have long discovered that the whole blogging system - blogs, rss, tags, pinging - is an excellent marketing vehicle. One great marketing system delivering targeted traffic to their products and services.

It really is a corruption or commercialization of blogging and this surely wasn't the idea the original designers of blogs had in mind. But the whole blogging system is so lucrative, many professional marketers (the author is pleading the fifth!) are using blogging systems like WordPress to create mainly marketing sites that may have little resemblance to a real blog. It just uses the backbone structure of blogs, RSS, Tags to give their sites a slight competitive edge in a very competitive world.

As we saw with the 'comment spam' there is a great likelihood that Tag and Ping will be misused and further antagonize the blogging purists. So if you are going to use Tag and Ping make sure you're creating valuable, usable content - then most sites will want to link to your site anyway. Content is still king no matter what tricks the professional marketers want to use. Always will be!

* Using a Simple Tag and Ping Marketing Technique With Technorati

To explain further the whole idea of Tag and Ping. Lets just walk through a marketing system you can quickly create using Technorati - one of the most popular blogging services.

First, sign your blog up with Technorati. This is quite a simple procedure. Just upload a photo, doesn't have to be of you - your site's logo will do. Register your profile with your 20 or so tags relating to your blog. Make sure these are keywords you're marketing with your blog. Then you have to place the Technorati code on your blog for a link back.

Next, you must understand that Technorati creates a landing page for each tag in their system. This page is made up of four parts:

- Flickr Photos

- Recent blog posts tagged with that keyword or phrase

- Who's Blogging About sidebar which links to any profiles of blogs    that those same keywords or phrase in their profile

- Links from Furl for the same tag

So to take full advantage and to use this marketing technique you have to sign up with both Flickr and Furl. Your aim is to get your links in all four spots on this Technorati landing page for your tag or keyword.  When signing up for Flickr, many marketers use their site's name for their Flickr username - just use a dash instead of a dot in your site's url. You can use a photo of the product they're promoting to get a link from Flickr in the top spot on the Technorati landing page. Pick your tags and description for the product.

Set up a Furl account and download the Toolbar - bookmark a few sites to get the hang of how its done.

* Now You're Really To Put Everything Together To Tag and Ping

1- You can start with the Flickr photos at top of the Technorati page.

Just post a photo or cover image into your Flickr account, making sure you tag it and use a catchy headline in your description. Link it to your landing or affiliate page url. Example:

2 - Next, make the first of your blog posts on your particular subject or product to your blog, making sure you tag it with your keywords and then ping Technorati. Make all your posts good content, reviews, product information or free downloads. Your entry will appear on the top of the list for that tag shortly in Technorati.

3 - Furl your blog post and your landing/affiliate page with your tags to make sure your entry/post is listed the bottom section of the Technorati page for your tag.

To work this system, add another blog post every few hours, Tag and Ping, plus Furl your posts. For better results you can sign up for countless other social bookmarking sites and bookmark your pages. Here are just a few good ones: del.icio.us, blinklist, moreover, icerocket, weblogs...

Flickr, Blog, Tag, Ping, Furl

This is just one Tag and Ping method - professional marketers have countless systems and sites working many variations on this relatively new marketing technique. But the information given above should get you started on your own Tag and Ping marketing system.

Remember, blogging and RSS are the wave of the future, make sure you're geared up to take advantage of all they have to offer. You must have at least one blog on your site. Use WordPress if you can - Blogger will do in a pinch!

Just make sure you're using some Ping and Tag marketing techniques to harvest all those links, traffic and sales for your site. This is one marketing technique you should now be using. Just remember to Flickr, Blog, Tag, Ping, Furl - Rinse and Repeat!

Finding Hot Selling Products to Sell Online

Finding Hot Selling Products to Sell Online

Word Count:

Summary:
In order to locate products that sell online, we need to understand what people already want to buy. Finding a good choice of idea or product is always accompanied by interfacing the demand for the product in the current market and the level of competition or market share that the product will be having in the long run.

Article Body:
In order to locate products that sell online, we need to understand what people already want to buy. Finding a good choice of idea or product is always accompanied by interfacing the demand for the product in the current market and the level of competition or market share that the product will be having in the long run.

"What should I sell? What products are hot selling? These are the questions most people are trying to find an answer in order for them to make the definite decision. And if we really want to know the answer to this question, our only choice is to do some research. There are all kinds of twists along the road that may lead you to think you have a high-demand idea. We must be able to understand and satisfy the need, wants and expectations of our customers on a certain product that they're trying to buy. This three are called the basic needs or minimum requirements in a purchase. Needs are the basic reasons or the minimum requirements consumers are looking for in a product or service. They are called the qualifying or "gatekeeper" dimensions in a purchase. Wants are the determining dimensions among many choices. Expectations, on the other hand, are values or intangibles associated with a product or service. Expectations are actually part of "wants" but they become extremely important when products or services are not differentiated.

For example, in reading a logic book, university students look for the following: Relevant logic concepts use of simple language, easy to understand and affordable prices. These similar ideas can be applied to Internet Sales as well. After all, the Internet is just another place to sell products. The basic concept of demand is the same there as it is anywhere else, and has been all the time.

Now, the second thing that must be considered in finding "hot" products to sell are the level of competition or the market shares do your product will have. Market share or level of competition means the ratio of your brand sales versus the total market sales. While companies would naturally define its target competitors, it is actually the consumers who ultimately decide the competitive frame, or the list related products or services that consumers consider when exercising their purchasing power. We must therefore choose the market segment where we can have a potential leadership or at least a strong challenger role. Because the overriding objective of getting into this business is not just to satisfy the needs and wants of our customers but to do so profitably better than his competition. Otherwise, our competition will end up satisfying the customers better than our own interest.

Third factor to be considered in finding hot selling products is finding out the general interest level about the product. General interest in a product helps us to gauge where our demand and competition numbers fall into the big picture. Simply saying, if there isn't much demand for the product, and there isn't much competition, it would seem that it might not be good a good put up for sale. But the research doesn't stop here; there is one last thing to be considered to exactly find the hot selling products that you've been looking for. We must also learn how others are advertising those products. If there are a good number of them doing so, it may mean that it's a good product to get into. Coming to the last phase of the process is analyzing and evaluating all the information that has been collected. We have to look at all of the data we have collected on demand, competition, and advertising, and make decision as how they all balance out.

And here are several factors or aspects that must be measured: (a) not enough demand means not enough people are going to buy (b) too much competition means not enough of a profit to go around (c) too much advertising drives up the price of pay per click ads, and competition as well (d) not enough general interest, combined with low demand, means there may not be a good market even if there is competition trying to make the sales.

Are Articles the Secret to Niche Marketing?

Are Articles the Secret to Niche Marketing?

Word Count:
465

Summary:
Discover what article marketing means to the niche market

Keywords:
article marketing, niche marketing

Article Body:
Article writing has become popular recently.  Search engines have changed the way they rank web sites and have begun to place a stronger value on good content.  Correction:  they have become better at filtering out commercial content, sales pitches, and advertising posing as content.

One incredibly good method of achieving a web presence with good content is that of article writing.  Why?  It provides the content that the search engines are looking for.  It provides meaningful content for the individual searching the web for good information.  And it provides an avenue whereby the article writer can be noticed on the web.

Where does niche marketing come in?  First of all, lets define niche marketing as marketing that is designed to meet the needs of a small group of individuals (a niche), rather than the mass needs of individuals.  For example, a particular type of pet owner, a particular type of web user, or a particular religious faith might be considered niche markets.

For niche markets like these, traditional forms of mass Internet marketing, such as banner ads, classifieds, and traffic generation programs, are not as effective.  The mass advertising forms are much more effective, cost-wise, when promoting a product that has wide market appeal.

So what does the niche marketer do?  Assuming he has a web presence, and provides a quality product or other solution to the niche customer's needs, he can become involved in article writing.  The articles would be of a particular interest to the niche customer.  They would contain valuable information that the niche customer cannot find anywhere else.

Sometimes article writers will write generic articles that really don't provide any real benefit to the reader, thinking that an article is an article.  That is simply not true.  Think about yourself.  When you read an article, if you do not learn something new when you read the article, are you disposed to learning more about the person, company, or products represented by the article writer?

The key to writing articles for a niche market and effectively gaining web presence by doing it, is to write quality.  Fill the article with useful information.  Show the reader that you really are an expert in your niche.  Give the reader a burning desire to want to hear more of what you have to say about their need.  And the only way you can create that burning desire is to give them quality information in the first place.

Blogs and blogging are sweeping the internet. They are all the rage as a hobby, writing exercise, and even a career for some. In fact, it is even becoming more common that bloggers are seeking a way to make money. Be it via advertising or affiliations, they each have their own way of pursuing that writing career by way of the blog. There is another way, though. There is an alternate way to make a little extra money by blogging. That way is not unlike the way waiters, cab drivers, and even bellhops add to their income: the tip. Wait a minute! How do you get tips from your blogging? There are ways, and if you read on you will see that they aren't as difficult as you might think.

First of all, if you want people to tip you for your blog, you have to give them a reason for doing it. You need to be providing very good information or highly entertaining copy that makes them feel like you earned it. In essence, you are the web equivalent to a street performer by working for tips. So, like that street performer, you owe your audience something that makes them feel like you are worth their money. So polish your writing, update it often, keep it fresh, and stay true to the topics your readers are used to. If you are all over the place, you won't be able to build the loyal audience necessary when you go to start asking for tips. Basically, the start of it all is your content. Just like with any other money making web venture, your content is going to go a long way. So to get started earning tips from your blogging, make sure you give the audience a reason.

Once you have your content set up, you need to promote it. Asking for tips won't do you a bit of good if you don't have an audience to ask. Market your blog, market your topics, and target those search engines. Don't do any of it at the expense of the quality of your content, but make sure you are getting something going in the way of marketing. Register with blog directories, post to other people's blogs, and generally get your name and blog site out there so that you will drive an audience into what is hopefully quality, informative, and or entertaining content. Again, if there is nobody at the site then asking for a tip is not going to do you a lot of good.

Next, since you have set up your content to be useful and entertaining to a particular audience and you have begun to get your blog marketed, you are almost ready for those tips. However, there needs to be some sort of vehicle available to your readers to get the tips to you. I mean if they have to do a lot of work to get money to you then you probably shouldn't count on the money rolling in. There are a number of online methods available for receiving payments via email or the web. It would be wise to have one located prominently on your blog so that if a reader is stuck with the desire to tip you, he or she can do so with ease and without a lot of time that may result in rethinking the tip. Remember, this is something you want to happen when your quality and entertainment is fresh in their minds.

Finally, if you really want to earn tips from blogging, then you should probably ask for them in some way. You can do so in the blog posts or even with some sort of message on the main page of your blog that states that tips are appreciated and are the way you fund the blog. Either way, you need to make it clear to the readers that you are reliant on their generosity without sounding like you are hard selling, or worse, begging.

Blogging can be a lot of fun, and can actually make you a little money if you are willing to work hard at it. One way of making that money is by earning tips from your readers. There are some things that you need to get in place though to make that work. Make sure you have quality content, market your site, set up a method for receiving the tips, and be sure to ask for them. If you do those things, then you can be earning tips from your blog before you know it.

Article Body:
You've heard it time and time again: if you want to get your name out there, write articles and allow them to be freely reproduced (with a resource box pointing back to you, of course). Largely, that is true. Well-written articles can:
- help you build your profile as an expert
- draw traffic to your website, and
- help you to build a database of potential clients through associated e-courses or a newsletter.
So far you probably haven't heard anything you didn't already know. What YOU are likely to be struggling with is the process of actually writing the article. Sure, you can come up with the content - but how do you really grab those readers? How do you keep their attention all the way through? And most importantly, how do you make them want to come back for more?
Let's assume that you understand the basics of constructing and editing an article (it has a beginning, middle, and an end and you know how to check the grammar and spelling.) Most of us can manage that. But if you're not content with simply "getting something out there" - if you want to WIN readers - then you need to start thinking about what they want to know, rather than what you want to tell them.
Put your readers first - every time. Give them what they want, and they'll be queuing up to read anything you produce. Give them something bland (or worse, blatantly self-serving) and they'll blast by you so fast you'll be spinning in the back draft.
The following four steps will give you a blueprint for writing articles that captivate your readers - whatever the topic.

== 1. Find Out What Your Readers Really Want ==
Sometimes you'll know what they want because you're an expert in the field, and understand the problems. If you don't know the subject area well, you'll have to do more research. Look for forums on your topic and see what people are discussing. What are the problems that need solving? Can you provide an answer? ("If they have a headache, give them an aspirin.")

== 2. Start With An Attention-Grabber ==
Spend time working on your opening. Try to avoid trite questions like "Have you ever wondered why so many people find it difficult to lose weight?" Firstly, it's dull. Secondly, it's not targeting the person reading the article - what do they care about the difficulties "many people" have with losing weight? They only care about THEIR weight problem!
Try to come up with an opening paragraph that gives the reader that warm "Hey, this is about me!" feeling right away. Better still; try to generate a rush of excitement - "This could be the answer I've been looking for..."
Example: "The diet gurus make it all sound so easy: to lose weight, all you have to do is expend more energy than you take in. Huh! If it were that simple, the "Big People" stores would be out of business in a heartbeat. Luckily for those of us who are tired of diets, gyms and dull group meetings, there is a back-to-basics way to tackle this. A way that won't cost you a fortune or leave you feeling deprived."

== 3. Write As You Speak... Then Edit! ==
The sample opening above also illustrates the importance of the tone you use in your article. You need 'meat' in each article, of course, to make it worth reading - but make sure it's not indigestible!
You're better off writing your article in a natural, relaxed style that's akin to normal conversation. It doesn't matter if the first draft is a little too informal - you can fix that when you edit. Naturally you don't want to irritate your readers with a too-breezy style, but too-formal is worse. Readers may want facts, tips, and strategies, but they hope to be entertained, too! Let your personality shine through.

== 4. End On A High ==
What's one of the biggest problems with most articles? They fizzle out! Writers often don't know how to end on an upbeat note. They either just stop dead or they come up with a trite ending like: "So what are you waiting for? Get started today!"
The beginning and the end of your article are the two parts that make the biggest impression. Start by creating a feeling of anticipation... and leave them feeling satisfied (or excited) when you finish.
If you are offering advice to help them solve a problem (like obesity) gives your readers a reason to feel optimistic and good about them. Don't make rash promises... but do offer hope. If you are giving hints on marketing or business, sum up the benefits of acting on your tips. You can also experiment with using a pithy/humorous quote, or giving readers a specific action to get them started. Be creative - and don't rush it.
Here's a final tip: create an article-writing cheat-sheet for yourself. Divide it into beginnings/middles/ends and add more useful strategies as you think of them. (For example, using the tips in this article, you might write: ENDINGS - end on a high, offer hope, use funny quote, suggest action to get started.)
Do this, and you'll be steadily cranking out articles that everyone wants to publish!

Just imagine, you have finally finished binding your proposal that you have spent the last week preparing and a coworker walks by and mentions in passing the spelling mistake right on the first page. If you have ever experienced this type of situation, you understand how important it is to add and delete pages from your bound documents. Fortunately, if you are using a thermal binding system you can add pages and make changes in your bound documents allowing you to correct errors or make editorial additions/deletions.

Even though addition and deletion will not replace proofreading to catch errors or correct grammar, it is a viable feature with thermal binding machines. One or two sheets can easily be added or deleted once or twice. However, we are being conservative in describing this adding and deleting feature because we don't want to oversell this feature. The addition and capability of thermal binding machines is not the same as the looseleaf flexibility of a mechanical fastener binding system (strip binding, comb binding, or looseleaf). Thermal binding users must still try to accurately complete any document before it's bound. The speed and multiple book-binding capabilities of this system allow the operator additional time for proofing prior to binding.

Here are a few simple steps for adding and deleting pages from thermal bound documents. These instructions should work with any thermal binding machine:

Deletion:

Place the document to be edited into the throat of your thermal binding machine. Locate the sheet(s) to be removed. With your left hand separate the sheet to be deleted from the balance of the document.

- Grasp the front cover and sheets to be removed with your left thumb and index finger, leave the sheets to be removed between your index and middle finger.

- Hold the balance of the document and the back cover with your middle finger and fourth finger.

- When the bind cycle signals complete, grasp the sheet(s) to be removed (by the top left corner of the document) with your right hand, and gently test the removal of the sheet by slightly sliding it to the left.

- If the sheet moves easily, lift it up by the left corner, and tip or peel it out of the document. Maintain your grasp on the sheets to remain in the document. If it does not move easily, let it continue to heat for a few more seconds.

- After you have removed the pages, tap back any pages that may have risen out of the adhesive and recur the document.

Addition:

Addition of the sheet is just the reverse of deletion.

- Insert the sheet to be added in the proper place

- Place the document into your thermal binding machine and run it through a binding cycle

- While the document is in the binding machine, manually position the added sheet. Using both hands, push the sheet down into the document to make them even with the rest of the document. You may have to move the sheet(s) from left to right for correct centering.

Addition and deletion of pages to thermal bound documents takes a little bit of practice. Just try editing a few documents and you will get the hang of it.

It is logical for a beginners guide to blogging to begin with information on how to start a blog. However, first a brief introduction to what a blog actually is. A blog is nothing more than your online diary or journal, in which you can express your feelings, thoughts, and opinions or even advertise your products. There are few rules apart from keeping it clean. For that reason they come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and designs, and your blog page is literally yours to anything you want with.

You can include pictures, hyperlinks to your websites, MP3s and videos. Much depends on the type of blog you have and who is the provider, but Wordpress allows more than Blogger or Blogspot, especially if you have downloaded it to your own website. However, it is also more complicated and you might prefer to start off easy and then work your way up as you become more familiar with what you are doing. Many cPanel web hosts offer Wordpress facilities.

The basic components of a blog are:

Title: You can use the title to label your posting.
Category: You can add a category to keep blogs on similar topics together.
Body: This is the main content of the blog.
Trackback: This allows other sites to link back to your blog.
Permalink: This is the URL that goes with every blog that you write.
Comments: This allows readers to make comments on your blog – some good, and some bad.

By means of just one or two templates you can easily create new pages. It's a bit like having a website and copying your home page as a template for all the rest of the pages, only the blog template is blank with spaces for the title, category and all the other aspects of your blog. The blogging websites that you sign up with offer a number of templates and you can choose one and literally start blogging immediately.

Blogging can be more that just your own personal thing, and you can join groups that blog about specific topics, such as football, movies, music, blogging, etc, etc. You can all share your expertise and knowledge and some are literally operating as forums. You can also use your blog to advertise a product, and to drive traffic to your website, while others have no website and use their blog as their sole communications window on the internet.

I could go on all day about what you can do and, sometimes, cannot do with a blog, but the best way is to get started and then find what you are capable of. The best way is to log onto the blog provider of your choice and sign up for a blog. Most newcomers to blogging find it easiest to start blogging from a provider's website, and then graduating to installing blogging software on their own website

This is a bit trickier, but it allows you use all the plugins that allow total personalization of your blog so that it is completely unlike that of anybody else. You cannot use plugins when you run your blog from the provider's site, whether it is Wordpress or any other blog. You cannot beat having your own blog software and being able to design any page that you want.

However, although this sounds great to be able to do, on the whole you are likely best to start blogging from the blog hosting site, and then graduate to your own website once you are comfortable with blogging. You will have enough to take in and learn when you upload to your own web space without having to worry about how blogging works.

Blogging is fantastic fun, and it can also be very profitable. However, there are specific techniques involved in making money using blogs, and it is very easy to get your fingers burnt if you are unaware of the pitfalls and the right way to do it. Nevertheless, blogging can be very rewarding, both personally and financially, so best of luck, and get blogging now. Don't leave it a minute longer because you might have a lot to learn yet.

Once you have learned how to start a blog, then you can think of running your own from your own website.

Every small businessman can have now the chance to become successful and popular on the market no matter what they sell.  The key is a good marketing strategy, whether we are talking about the offline businesses or the online ones. By using the Internet to promote your business you can reach your goals in a short time and with a low investment. The only thing you must do in order to avoid any failures is to learn from your experiences or better, from others. If you will choose from the start the best methods to advertise your online business, the rate of success will be higher and you will be the witness of a fast and profitable ascension.

The hardest step in the online businesses as a beginner is to achieve your first sale. Every time you sell an item make sure you add the customers name and email address to the opt-in-list.  Than, you can send them free email courses through auto responders and monthly newsletters, making sure they will be informed about your new product releases and the advantages of purchasing them. A review of the product can inform the customers about the qualities of the product and consequently, attract new customers. It is a low cost method that can gradually increase your sales, no matter the product you are selling.

If you decide to use an affiliate program in the campaign of increasing your sales you should pay attention and choose an affiliate program that has a good reputation and that can assure you a higher profit. Providing them with the best materials and tools for advertising your website will seal the success of your business and increase your sales high sky. You can offer the possibility of joining the affiliate program to the people who buy your products and a happy customer that has already tried your product and has seen its qualities is the best person to promote it further.

All customers love discounts, therefore a great way to promote your business and obtain a nice profit is to offer discount coupons. Getting the product to a lower price draws the customers and after they will enjoy the benefits of using it, they will more likely return and buy it at a whole price. You can also give them the chance to obtain an upgrade for a better or bigger product for a convenient price, such as having two products with a 10% off price than if you buy them separately.

Even if it seems strange, you can promote your products in combination with other related ones. As long as you and the partner company gain, the possibilities are unlimited. A sample of your product given as a promotional item at the purchase of another related product is a good way to advertise your business, even if it isn't as profitable as the other methods.

We are sure that some of the above mentioned advertising methods can get you higher sales if you decide to apply them as a part of your marketing strategy, now it depends on you to choose the one that is the most adequate for your online business.

Snap Out Of Your Anger and Create Joy In Your Relationships!

We are driven to find joy, happiness and fulfillment within our relationships.  Dr. Adrianne Ahern's SNAP Out of It NOW! Method offers a step-by-step guide to transforming stress, anxiety, self-doubt, anger, and other negative feelings into something completely positive.  Snap Out of It Now! Snap Out of Your Automatic Reactions and Create Presence, Joy and Fullness in Your Relationship!

You know those times when you've had a heated argument with your partner and are still feeling angry and resentful? You know that if you could only apologize or touch them tenderly, things could move on, but you just can't let go of your anger!

    * You KNOW, because you've heard it everywhere, that YOU are responsible for your own happiness. Right?
    * Your partner doesn't have the power to MAKE you angry or sad-no one can MAKE you feel any way except Y-O-U! Right?
    * You have a CHOICE about how you react to what your partner does, right?

Rationally, you know this to be true, but why is it that you cannot control your emotions? Like clockwork, the very next time your partner comes through the door in the evening 30 minutes late, you are in an argument before the door closes.

Once the fight ensues, you don't feel capable of choosing to stop and end the argument with an apology or an act of tenderness. Your automatic reactions have assumed control of you. You waste hours feeling furious instead of spending good time with the one you love. How often does this occur in your relationships?

CLIENT STORY: I want control over my reactions!

Linda used to find it impossible to let go of her anger and reach out with forgiveness to her husband directly after a heated argument. Why? Because once she automatically engaged her reaction of anger by complaining, insulting and blaming, she was no longer capable of choosing how to react. Her emotional response took on a life of it's own!

What's going on? Linda was not conditioned to consciously experience her feelings of anger-a normal human emotion. When sensations of anger arose in her body, her programming kicked in and she automatically placed responsibility for her anger onto someone or something else. Once Linda began reacting to her feelings of anger by projecting them outwardly, she began a vicious cycle of anger and regret.

I helped Linda with the four easy steps of the SNAP Out Of It NOW! Method.  Linda learned to:

1. Acknowledged that she was stuck in negative thinking (about what it means when her husband comes home late), and that she was unconsciously reacting (complaining and blaming) to her own negative thought patterns.
2. Experience herself reacting-to really think about and to fully become aware of her reactions and their consequences (no-win situation leaving her feeling empty and her husband unhappy).
3. Sense the feeling within her body (heat rising in chest) that was provoking the impulse to react with blaming.
4. Breathe with focused intention with the feeling inside. As she breathed, the feeling dissipated and she no longer felt controlled by her automatic "angry" reaction.

Linda discovered how to quiet her mind and how to connect with and experience her feelings.  When she acknowledged and experienced the feelings within her, she no longer felt the impulse to react with blame toward her husband.

After 3 sessions, Linda said to me, "I am no longer controlled by my feelings of anger. As I breathe to the sensation of heat rising in my chest, the sensation dissipates and I am back in control. I feel better about myself and I actually look forward to seeing my husband when he comes home. If he comes home later than expected I find something to do to fill the time." Linda began to feel appreciation for her husband rather than only anger and resentment.

Part of the stress in life is that feelings of anger and resentment get in the way of the desire to be present with the ones we love-whether they are parents, spouses, children or friends-and to create joy and fullness in our relationships.
